Everest Student Anthony Duclair Drafted by the New York Rangers Today

Our congratulations goes out to Anthony Duclair and his family. Anthony was drafted today by the New York Rangers in this year’s NHL player draft. As you may know, Anthony became an Everest student-athlete as part of our “3rd Semester” program in the Spring of 2012. This innovative program offers a highly customizable academic environment for elite athletes needing time and flexibility to properly balance sports and school. Anthony worked hard to keep pace with the demands of being a high profile player with the Quebec Remparts while also desiring to graduate high school with his age group. He became the first Everest Academy student to complete a full semester with Everest On-Line Learning Center (EOLC) and graduated this June crossing the stage with his classmates on June 20th.

Please join me in congratulating Anthony for his tremendous accomplishment and wishing him all the best in the tough challenges that lay ahead.
