Everest S.E.L.F. Foundation

The Everest S.E.L.F. Foundation is a CRA registered charity (#841943384RR0001) formed in 2015 to identify and support student athletes with potential.  Funds are also used within the community to support like-minded programs that treat the holistic needs of students with potential.

In addition to fund raising events such as the U16/U18 Hockey Showcase (see below), Everest Alumni will increasingly play a key role in building up the potential of the foundation to impact the lives of an increasing number of deserving students.

Scott Haller D.O.M.T.P. of Shift Concussion Management Program will present a seminar on concussions (cause, effect, consequences and management of the injury). Everyone is welcome to attend.

As well, during the day, there will be some fun fundraising events such as a Puck Toss, and Silent and Live Auctions.

At the end of the day, participants will have the opportunity to play in an AllStar game with NHL alumni such as Jamie Allison, Lou Franceschetti, Adam Bennett, Zenon Konopka, Shawn Anderson (subject to appear). The game will be refereed by NHL alumni Jack Valiquette and our MC will be Paul Rosen, Olympic gold medal sledge hockey winner.  Spots in the Allstar game are awarded based on player event performance in the showcase games and the public can earn player spots through various fundraising efforts.

There will be an autograph and photo session available to everyone at the end of the event.
