Everest Academy Spend-a-Day Program
One of the best ways to fully experience the benefits of the Everest Academy program is to spend a day as an Everest student-athlete at our school. Prospective students experience each unique aspect of our school program:
Skills – Prospective students join their selected sports program and train with the rest of their skills group. They get to meet various athletic instructors and demonstrate their abilities.
Education – Prospective students spend the day attending classes and are encouraged to fully participate in what goes on.
Leadership – Prospective students meet other students and see how they have developed from a variety of leadership attributes including self-confidence.
Fitness – Prospective students can participate in the scheduled health and fitness class for that day. They will experience a high-end fitness workout or perhaps be exposed to a new sport from an education perspective.
Prospective students walk away with a full experience of the key aspects of Everest Academy, including joining the student body during lunch period to enjoy our chef-prepared hot lunch buffet.

1. What is the Spend-a-Day Schedule?
Prospective students should be brought to the school for 8:30 in the morning. They should bring appropriate sports equipment and also a change of clothes for fitness/gym class. They do NOT need to bring any food as the school provides snacks and a full buffet hot lunch. All prospective students finish their day at 3:50 (earlier pickup can be arranged if needed).
2. Can I watch my son/daughter during the day?
Parents can attend the Skills development session only as the education classes are considered closed to avoid any distractions for the other students. Parents are encouraged to do a full school tour during the school day which normally lasts between 30 minutes and 1 hour and includes a 1-1 meeting with Mr. Sim, the school Principal to discuss the overall program in more detail.
3. Is there any cost for the spend-a-day?
No, there is no cost other than your time and commitment to getting the most out of the experience.
4. When can I schedule it during the week?
The best days are Monday through Thursday as that is when the various athletic programs are running (Friday is an academic-only day). Please provide us 2 days notice to schedule a spend-a-day. Contact Admissions directly at 905.881.3335 or send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
